We collect our wood from National Forest lands. We search for just the right wood to make long lasting pieces with character and beauty.  Lodge pole pine is the predominant species in the forests of the Rocky Mountain states.  Severe winters in the mountains shape the trees to create natural formations and variations in the character of the wood.

All art carvings are unique and are not duplicated. Details for art carvings are worked out by e-mail on an individual basis.  Natural burls, used in character headboards, are limited in availability, so please check current status on the pricing page. www.montanawoods.net
